Server board randomly reboots with alert message on BMC: RID:01D8 TS:04/23/2021 12:46:22 SN:Pwr Unit Status ST:Power Unit ED:Power Unit Failure ET:Asserted EC:OK RID:01D8 RT:02 TS:6082C19E GID:0020 ER:04 ST:09 S#:01 ET:6F ED:86 10 FF

Resolution

  1. Change both hot swapable power supplies
  2. Update the Firmware to latest version 0015
  3. Connect the server to the UPS
  4. Test another Power Distribution Board
