Unable to find the meaning of Thermal Profiles for Intel Processors
PCG stands for Platform Compatibility Guide. It provides a design target for meeting all planned processor frequency requirements.
For the 13th Generation Intel® Processors, there are different thermal profiles: 2020A, PGC 202C, and PCG 202D.
For 11th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors, available thermal profiles are: PCG 2019A, PCG 2019B, PCG 2019C, and PCG 2019D.
For 12th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors, available thermal profiles are: PCG 2020A, PCG 2020C, PCG 2020D, and PCG 2020E.
