Explains why the Intel Killer Control Center version may not be the same as the installer version number
The current version of the Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite does not match a version of the Intel Killer Control Center. The Intel Killer Software Package and the UWD Killer Control Center will not share a version number, as the Killer Software Package installs multiple items for the latest Intel Killer Control Center to work correctly.
The Intel Killer Software Package:
- Installs the latest device drivers for Killer devices you have installed in your machine (such as WiFi or Ethernet driver).
- Installs the current Killer Network Service, which is reducing latency and prioritizing applications.
- Installs the extension drivers needed for Windows® 10 to be able to download and run the current version of the Intel Killer Control Center.
- Helps to install the Intel Killer Control Center.
The drivers, the network service, and the Intel Killer Control Center all have different version numbers.
To see if you have the current version of the Intel Killer Software Package installed, right-click Start, then click Apps and Features. In that menu, scroll until you find Killer Performance Driver Suite UWD, then click it to expand. That version, highlighted in the image below is the Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite package version currently installed.
To check for updates use Intel® Driver & Support Assistant or manually check the driver availability on Download Center

If you are using a Killer Wireless-N 1102, 1103, or 1202, or you are using a version of Windows older than the October 2018 update (version 1803), including Windows 7* and 8.1*, you will have Killer Control Center 1.5.1859 installed.
