Description

Symptoms

  • The status LED on the third PSU shows solid amber, indicating a potential issue with the power supply.
  • System performance may be throttled.
  • Removing the third PSU causes the second PSU's status LED to turn amber.
  • System event log entries may include Power supply input lost and Input under-voltage warning.

Resolution

  • Verify the stability of the power source.
  • Ensure all PSUs are connected to a 220V power source to prevent under-voltage issues.

Additional information

For Intel® Server System S9200WK with more than 2 compute modules installed, the system must be connected to 220V input voltage in order to operate properly.
