RAID Volume Still Not Detected After Loading the Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel® VROC) Driver on Intel® Server Boards

Description

When attempting to install the operating system, at the step of the prompt Where do you want to install Windows, no RAID volume is detected, even after trying with the right Intel® VROC driver.

Resolution

  1. Make sure the correct driver is loaded manually. See more details in Unable to See the RAID Volume during Windows* Installation.
  2. Otherwise, update the BIOS.
  3. Ensure the drives are among the tested list, based on the board model.
