Is the H.264 license fee already covered with the purchase of the processor? or is it needed to stipulate an additional license contract with MPEG LA?
Resolution
Intel does not have an H.264 license from MPEGLA for our processors as they typically license manufacturers of finished goods like PC OEMs instead of component suppliers. Thus if you are under the impression you need an H.264 license from MPEG LA, you would need to source that yourself.
