Description

When recording any video game the game play lags a little and the recorded video seems to be skipping frames.

Resolution

Micro-lag issues can be related to: game optimization, graphics drivers, RAM dedicated for gaming, and also the disk drive used (HDD/SSD). Follow these recommendations:

  • Run the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool to make sure the CPU is working as expected.
  • Update the graphics driver to the latest version provided by your system manufacturer (OEM) or the graphics vendor.
  • Update the system BIOS following the steps of the OEM.
  • Update the Operating System (OS) to the latest version available for your system, check with Microsoft* for guidance.
  • Check with the recording tools developers to make sure you are using the recommended settings for streaming.
