Steps to update the Sensor Data Record of the Integrated Baseboard Management Controller (Integrated BMC)
Description
Unable to see the CPU sensors in the Integrated Baseboard Management Controller (Integrated BMC) Embedded Web Server.
Resolution
Update the Field Replaceable Unit/Sensor Data Record (FRUSDR) only to obtain accurate Sensor Readings in the Integrated BMC Web Server:
- Press F2 to enter BIOS and select Internal EFI shell in the Boot Manager tab. A shell prompt appears on the screen.
- Run map –r to display all the drives available under the shell.
- Change to the current directory containing the FRUSDR package.
- Run UpdS2600STBFRUSDR.nsh.

- The Integrated BMC is key to make sure all the components of the system are healthy. The Field Replaceable Unit/Sensor Data Record (FRUSDR) helps the Integrated BMC firmware in monitoring and managing the server.
