Unable to Configure Email Notifications from Intel® Optane™ Memory and Storage Management Application

Unable to find the options to enable email notifications from Intel® Optane™ Memory and Storage Management application. No option to send email on a RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) alert.

The SetupRST.exe installer in the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology Driver Installation Software with Intel® Optane™ Memory is the new installer that will install the Intel® RST driver and start the process of installing the Intel® Optane™ Memory and Storage Management application from the Microsoft Store*:

The Intel® Optane™ Memory and Storage Management application does not have the legacy UI (user interface) and it needs users to install Hardware Support Apps (HSA UI) from the Microsoft® Store either using the Intel® RST driver or the link above to the Microsoft® Store, and there is no email notification feature in this version.

Intel is evaluating the possibility of including this feature in their future driver releases, and details will be updated later.

We request our users to use the features below, which are currently available to monitor storage health.

• Intel has enabled the notification in the Windows* notification center starting RST 18.1 and later releases. This can be enabled in the Systems > Notifications & Actions page in Windows ®10. 
• Users can also monitor the Windows event log to monitor for storage-related errors.
