An issue has been discovered that results in a system crash (BSOD), black screen or potential No Boot Device found condition on Intel® Optane™ Memory H10 with Solid State Storage mobile platforms. See below for more details on how to recover and prevent this issue on your system.
If acceleration is enabled while the system is on battery (DC) power, followed by the system being placed in S4/Hibernate while on plugged in (AC power), the failure(s) could occur.
If you have already experienced the No Boot Device found issue, a third-party service may be used to attempt recovery of data.
| Note | Due to the nature of caching algorithms, where files and data blocks are spread between multiple disks, complete recovery of data is difficult. A fresh OS installation may be required. It is always recommended to regularly back up data. |
