Description

Information about processor technology.

Resolution

  1. The Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2660 v4 belongs to the Haswell E family. This is when COD (Cluster on Die) was introduced in processors with more than 10 cores. Therefore it supports SMP. The Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2660 v4 comes with 14 cores.
  2. COD enables a second NUMA node per processor socket. This depends on the board as NUMA features are managed by board Basic Input/Output System - BIOS.
