What is the Hardware Time-stamping of RX Packets on Intel® Ethernet Converged Network Adapters X540/X550/X710?

After reading datasheets, I am still unsure if these network cards provide hardware timestamps for all incoming packets.

I need these timestamps to be accessible for software components.

• Intel® Ethernet Converged Network Adapters X540 and X710:
  • Do not support time-stamping for all RX (receive) packets.
  • Support only the PTP (Precision Time Protocol) packets.
• Intel® Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X550 supports the time-stamping of all incoming packets.
