Environment

Motherboard or system contains an Intel® Xeon® Processor

Description

No graphics or display output when trying to use processor graphics of an Intel® Xeon® Processor

Resolution

Check the following hardware requirements:

  1. Check if the processor contains Processor Graphics capabilities
    • To check this, look for the Processor Graphics section for the specific processor in the Intel Product Specifications website.
    • If your processor is not contained in the list above, it does not support this capability
  2. Check the motherboard or system's documentation or contact the motherboard/system manufacturer to confirm whether the motherboard/system has output interfaces for processor graphics.
  3. Check if the display or monitor is physically connected to the desired output interface of the processor graphics and that the output interface is selected.
    • For example, if using a display with Digital Visual Interface (DVI), verify that a DVI cable is connected to the motherboard's DVI graphics output interface and the output is selected within the operating system.

If the hardware supports processor graphics, confirm the proper software drivers are installed:

  • Download the latest graphics driver from the motherboard or system manufacturer's website. If using an Intel® Server Board or Intel® Server System, download the latest graphics driver from the Intel Download Center.
