In multiple times throughout each and every day, seemingly without any pattern or routine, I am presented with a pop-up window from Intel Active Management Technology Profile Synchronization. It says the following: Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software is configured to synchronize user profiles with Intel® Active Management Technology. Would you like to synchronize....
Resolution
Caution | Only use this method if Intel® AMT is not configured or something that will be utilized in the future |
To disable:
- In BIOS, Advance Chipset Feature ->Intel AMT (Enabled,Disabled)
- CTRL+P to go AMT Menu (Intel ME Control state(Enabled,Disabled)
- Depending on HP (Hewlett-Packard) model, check on BIOS: Advanced > Remote Management Options > Active Management / Unconfigure AMT on next boot.
