Which Intel® Core™ processors and/or Intel® HD Graphics controllers support Multi-Stream Transport (MST)?

Resolution

MST is supported on DisplayPort 1.2 ports. Confirm your system meets the following system requirements:

  • The desktop or laptop system has a DisplayPort 1.2 port
  • The display or monitor has a DisplayPort 1.2 port and supports MST
    • Daisy chainable displays have both a DisplayPort input and a DisplayPort output

Every Intel® Core™ processor from 4th generation and above supports MST via DisplayPort™ to DisplayPort™ only, up to three monitors with daisy-chaining or a DisplayPort™ hub.
