Description

You may see this behavior when powering on the system:

Unable to enter into BIOS. The system hangs on the "Entering Setup" POST message.

Proceed as follows:

Remove all USB devices, except the mouse and keyboard.
Turn off the system and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Remove the cables from the board including the redundant PSUs.
Reboot the server without any USB installed, including the keyboard and mouse.
Reseat the CMOS battery. See Steps to clear CMOS using the battery method.
Reseat the memory modules.
Reseat the hard drives.
