Low FPS and lag when playing any 4K video file using:
- Windows Movies & TV
- VLC
- MPC-HC
- K-Lite Codec Pack to PotPlayer
- Youtube in vp9 format
Resolution
Ultra-low powered processors (i.e 15W TDP) with Intel HD Graphics 520 use a hybrid HEVC 10bit decoder that it may reach up to 4K 15Mbps 24 fps, thus is expected behavior to see lag on some HEVC media that goes above these specifications.
