How to Find China RoHS Documentation for Intel® Processors

Description

Cannot find the China RoHS documentation for an Intel® Processor.

Resolution

If an Intel® processor is Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant,

Method 1: Find China RoHS Declaration information by clicking on the CPU only, or CPU with thermal solution.

 

Method 2: The China RoHS Declaration document is located within the processor's Material Declaration Data Sheet (MDDS) document.

To obtain a copy of the China RoHS Declaration document, follow these step:

  1. Identify your Intel® processor, or note the processors number needed for this information.
  2. Goto Material Declaration Data Sheets (MDDS)
  3. Enter the processor number in the search box , located left side.
  4. View the list of MDDS for Intel boxed and tray processors.
    • Boxed Processors will include ordering code starting with BX807.
  5. Click on the link for MDDS and download the file.
  6. File will be downloaded on your download folder, open the file.
    • If using Adobe* Acrobat Reader, the China RoHS attachment located on the attachment icon, right side.
    • If using Foxit* PDF Reader, the China RoHS attachment located on the attachment icon, left side.
    • If using another program to view the PDF file, refer back to the software vendor if you have any questions about attachment location.
