Description

Connections to all drives on the front of the server were lost. Other RAID cards were tested, but the drives were not showing up. The two OS drives in the rear of the server are OK. They show up in ASC as DRIVE_Presence.

Resolution
  1. Update the system to the latest BIOS.
  2. Make sure that the I2C cable is properly connected.
Additional information

Outdated system firmware version caused issues with the backplane.
