How to Troubleshoot Intel® NUC Kit with Noisy Fan

Fan noise on the Intel® NUC Kit including the following:

• Grinding noises when fan spins, like ball bearings going bad
• Knocking and ticking, like a fan blade is hitting something
• Fan squealing
• Loud rattling noise

For Intel® NUCs with noisy fans, follow these steps:

1. Inspect the fan to check if something is obstructing the fan.
2. Try to clean the radiators with compressed air.
3. Inspect for signals of physical damage.
