Intel® Rapid Start Technology allows companies to save on power costs associated with keeping systems powered on or in a regular S3 state. Intel® Rapid Start Technology also keeps employees productive by getting them back into their desktop in seconds versus potentially minutes. Intel Rapid Start Technology accesses a dedicated partition on the SSD to store the contents from main memory (DRAM) and move the platform to a deeper sleep state (S4).
