Installation for Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Software

To install the software:

1. Download the Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Software.
2. Double-click on the software file to begin installation.

When the installation wizard starts, it walks you through the following steps:

1. On the Welcome page, click Next. This page might appear twice. If it does, click Next again.
2. Read the license agreement, accept it, and click Next.
3. On the Destination Folder page, you can choose a new destination or use the default. The default installation is “C:\Program Files\Intel\Bluetooth.”
4. Click Install to start the installation process. The installation progress displays.
5. When the installation process is complete, click Finish.

After installation, the application can be launched from the Bluetooth® technology tray icon menu in the system tray area.

From the release 24.50.0 package onwards, Download the Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Drivers for Windows® 10 and Windows® 11*

Silent installation can be performed in the below Administrator: Command Prompt options:

• BT-xx.xx.x-64UWD-Win10-Win11.exe /quiet

This Download the Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Software for IT Administrators. Package version 24.40.0 is the last version, will no longer be available after August 11, 2026, and will not be supported with any additional functional, security, or other updates. All versions are provided as is. Intel recommends that users of Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® uninstall and discontinue use as soon as possible and upgrade to the latest version of Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Package version 24.50.0 or later.

Silent install can be performed with below command options:

/qn indicates quiet install – no popups

– msiexec /i "Intel Bluetooth.msi" /qn
– setup /qn (Note: /i does not apply to setup.exe or autorun)
– autorun /qn

To do repairs:

1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Click Programs and Features. The uninstall or change a program screen displays.
3. Right-click Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Software, click Repair, and follow the instructions.
4. To complete the repair process, restart the system. Changes are in effect after the system restarts.

Method 1: To uninstall Bluetooth® software:

1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Click Programs and Features. The uninstall or change a program screen displays.
3. Right-click Intel® Wireless Bluetooth®, click Change, then click Remove and follow the instructions.
4. To complete the uninstall process, restart your system.

Method 2: Silent uninstall can be performed with below Administrator: Command Prompt options:

• BT-xx.xx.x-64UWD-Win10-Win11.exe /quiet /x

To do an upgrade, choose one of the following options:

• Run the installer package that has the newest version of the software, and follow the software wizard instructions.
• Uninstall the software version you have on your system.
• Reboot your PC, and run the installer package that has the newest version of the software.
