Enclosure Management Cabling for Intel® C200 Series Chipset and Intel® C600 Series Chipset–Based Server Systems with Hot-Swap Drive Enclosures (PDF)
Use this guide to correctly connect SAS and SATA cabling and SGPIO enclosure management cabling between Intel® RAID Controllers and chassis backplanes. Improper cable connections may result in unexpected behavior, including RAID array faults and the inability to update firmware.
