A potential security vulnerability in Intel® Manycore Platform Software Stack (MPSS) may allow escalation of privilege. Intel is releasing software updates to mitigate this potential vulnerability.
Description: Improper permissions in the installer for Intel(R) MPSS before version 3.8.6 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
