A potential security vulnerability in Intel® Parallel Studio XE for Windows may allow for an escalation of privilege. Intel is releasing software updates to mitigate this potential vulnerability.

Description: Improper directory permissions in the installer for the Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE for Windows may allow authenticated users to potentially enable an escalation of privilege via local access.

Intel® Parallel Studio XE for Windows before Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2019 Gold.


Intel recommends updating to Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2019 Update 1 or later.
