Oner Orhan is a Research Scientist at Intel Labs where he focuses on wireless, machine learning and artificial intelligence. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey in 2010. He received the Ph.D. degree at the Electrical and Computer Engineering of New York University Tandon School of Engineering, Brooklyn, NY, USA in 2015. He received Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University. He was a member of NYU WIRELESS Research Center. In 2014 and 2015 summers he was a research intern at Huawei Technologies in New Jersey and at Intel Labs in Santa Clara, respectively. In 2018 he received Division Recognition Award for valuable contributions in mmWave product. He is author of 55 patents and 20 papers on machine learning, artificial intelligence, energy harvesting, fifth generation (5G) cellular systems, mmWave beamforming, low power mmWave receiver architectures, beam management, and interference management. His current research interest is in artificial intelligence/machine learning.
