CAUSE: The specified name is an illegal name in a design entity. This message is a submessage of the message that precedes it in the Messages window and the Analysis & Synthesis Messages section of the Report window.
ACTION: Avoid using '*', ':' and '|' in your naming scheme. These characters have special meaning in the Quartus Prime software. Make sure you use only legal name characters in the entity name, such as alphanumeric characters.
