Hardware Setup Dialog Box

Allows you to add and remove hardware items from the Hardware list, add and remove JTAG servers from the JTAG Servers list, configure your local JTAG server, and specify a hardware setup for device programming and/or configuration.

Allows you to specify a programming hardware setup for the current Programmer window:

Currently selected hardware— Lists the name of the current programming hardware set up for the Programmer.
Hardware— Lists the names of the available programming hardware, their ports, and the servers they are on.
Add hardware— Opens the Add Hardware dialog box, which allows you to add new programming hardware, such as an EthernetBlaster cable, and configure settings so that the Quartus II software recognizes the added hardware.
Remove hardware— Removes the selected hardware item from the Hardware list.

Allows you to add or remove available JTAG servers and configure the local JTAG server.

JTAG Servers— Lists the available JTAG servers and their current connection status.
Add Server— Opens the Add Server dialog box, which allows you to specify the name and password of a remote JTAG server to add to the available JTAG servers.
Remove Server— Removes the selected JTAG server from the available servers.
Configure local JTAG Server— Opens the Configure local JTAG Server dialog box, which allows you to determine whether remote users can connect to your local JTAG server and what password they use to access it.
