Create JAM, JBC, SVF, or ISC File Dialog Box

 


You open this dialog box by clicking Create/Update on the File menu, and then clicking Create JAM, JBC, SVF or ISC File. The dialog box is not available if there are no devices in the Programmer, or if the device chain contains an unknown device, multiple instances of the same device name, or one or more unsaved Programmer Object Files (.pof).

 

Allows you to generate a Jam File (.jam), Jam Byte Code File (.jbc), Serial Vector Format File (.svf), or In System Configuration File (.isc) for programming or configuring multiple ISP-compatible devices in a JTAG chain, or for programming a single ISP-compatible device in In-Socket Programming mode.

Scripting Information

Executable: quartus_jbcc.exe

You can generate a Jam Byte Code File at the command prompt with the quartus_jbcc.exe executable.
