BOSTON, Oct. 2, 2023 – Intel® Ignite, Intel Corporation’s startup accelerator program for early-stage deep tech startups, announced the 10 companies selected for the third U.S. cohort.
Through a rigorous process, and from an application pool that included more than 300 companies, 10 startups were selected for the 12-week program. The companies have $6.8 million in average seed funding and span diverse technology innovations, from cloud computing to health-tech to machine learning and artificial intelligence, data management, world-record-breaking novel power generation tech, vision systems and manufacturing optimizations and sustainability tech. More than 130 experts convened to listen to, evaluate and select the finalists.
The startups in the third U.S. cohort are:
- Bloch Quantum – High-resolution modified ultrasound technology that is accessible and non-ionizing, allowing for more accurate and earlier cancer diagnoses.
- TryCarbonara – Platform to measure and reduce the carbon emissions of software.
- CLIKA Inc. – Solution that reduces size and complexity of AI models without sacrificing accuracy.
- CloudNatix Inc. – Software-as-a-service platform that helps enterprises efficiently use on-premises and public cloud environments for their legacy and cloud-native Kubernetes applications.
- DataHeroes – Building the first database for data-centric AI that significantly accelerates model training time and reduces training costs.
- DynamoFL – The most private, regulation-compliant solution for generative AI.
- Gaia AI – Measurement and analytical tool for data-driven forest management that uses lidar, computer vision and satellite measurement.
- Intramotev – Self-propelled battery-electric railcars outfitted with a sensor and vision suite that can be integrated with traditional trains.
- Mesodyne – Power generator that provides reliable, efficient, quiet, portable and long-endurance power from any fuel.
- Tristar AI – AI platform for manufacturing that solves human challenges for industrial operations managers with computer vision.
“We are at an important inflection point for tech with the rise of generative AI, Web3 and quantum computing. Much of the way the world does business could radically change, and deep tech systems will power many of these changes,” said Mark Castleman, managing director, Intel Ignite U.S. “The startups selected for this cohort are working to reimagine the future of our world, across industries – through the refinement and governance of AI models, increased use cases for AI, as well as creating sustainable solutions for the energy and transportation sectors."
Intel Ignite has a proven track record of helping deep tech startups achieve significant strategic impact and reach product market fit more quickly. Since the program launched in 2019, the companies have collectively secured $1.7 billion in funding.
As part of the program, the startups will also have access to Intel corporate mentors, top industry mentors and members of Intel Ignite’s customer advisory board – a group of experts and C-suite executives from leading companies.

The program prioritizes crucial topics in addition to growth, go-to-market, product and technology, including founders’ mental health, diversity and inclusion, and the effective management of co-founder dynamics. The program is non-dilutive – Intel Ignite does not take any equity – and free to the startups. The U.S. program, based in Boston, first launched in 2022, and in addition to the U.S., Intel Ignite operates programs in Israel, Europe and the United Kingdom.
