Drone Video Shows Progress at Four Intel Factories

An aerial view shows construction work at Intel factory sites in the United States, Ireland and Israel.

It’s a busy time for construction crews at Intel sites. Fabs. Assembly test plants. Design centers. Research and development centers. Warehouses. Workers are on construction sites worldwide building for Intel.

Recent drone footage shows fabs — or “mods” — currently under construction in Hillsboro, Oregon; Leixlip, Ireland; and Kiryat-Gat, Israel, as well as Intel’s completed Fab 42 in Chandler, Arizona. They’re all part of Intel’s “IDM 2.0” strategy to increase its manufacturing capacity.
