What’s New: Intel earned the No. 6 spot in the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 for 2021, marking the 10th consecutive year the company has landed in the list’s top 10.

“In a challenging year, we moved up two spots to No. 6 and are one of only two companies to maintain a position in the top 10 for the past 10 years.”

–Randhir Thakur, Global Supply Chain (GSC) leader and president of Intel Foundry Services

Why It Matters: The Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 scores hundreds of companies on business performance and opinion. It defines business performance as public financial results and environmental, social and governance data that illustrate how companies have performed. The opinion component considers a company’s potential and reflects leadership in the supply chain community.

“We saw organizations continuing to deal with the effects of COVID-19 on their businesses. Therefore, resiliency and agility capabilities became essential to survival," said Mike Griswold, vice president of Gartner, a research and advisory company.
