4.1.1. FPGA AI Suite Docker* Image Requirements

The FPGA AI Suite Docker* images has the following hardware and software requirements:

Hardware Requirements

  • Laptop or Desktop Computer
    • 16 GB RAM
    • 50 GB free storage

    The system must have an Internet connection without an active VPN or firewall. If you have a VPN or firewall, you might need to configure the Docker CLI to use proxies. For details, refer to https://docs.docker.com/engine/cli/proxy/.

  • (Optional) An FPGA development kit supported by FPGA AI Suite. The development kit is required only if you want test running inference on the FPGA device. You do not need a development kit to run the FPGA AI Suite tools.
    Tip: Most of the steps in this document do not require FPGA hardware. Any steps that specifically require FPGA hardware like a development kit to complete are indicated in this document with an [FPGA] tag.
    The FPGA AI Suite Docker image supports the following development kits :
    • Agilex™ 5 FPGA E-Series 065B Modular Development Kit (MK-A5E065BB32AES1)
