3.2. Determine Your Performance Bottlenecks

The biggest determinant of the performance, power, and cost of your AI inference solution is the FPGA device that you select. Determine what portions of your design should be executed in software vs. hardware (that is, using the FPGA logic resources). Profiling your application gives you a preliminary estimation of where the bottlenecks in your application are.
