I am trying to use the Intel® Trace Collector that comes with the Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition with an MPI library other than Intel® MPI Library. I am seeing a link error, where there are unresolved symbols. What am I doing wrong?
Solution
Verify that you're using the correct version of the Intel® Trace Analyzer and Collector. The tool currently only supports the Intel MPI Library and MPICH. To confirm, check the value of the environment variable, VT_MPI, after sourcing the itacvars.[c]sh script in the <install_dir>/itac/<version>/bin location.
