ISO 14001 and 45001 Registrations
Intel maintains a company-wide certification to the internationally recognized ISO 14001 and 45001 standards to ensure Intel manufacturing sites maintain a comprehensive environmental, health and safety management system that clearly defines and tracks global performance to environmental, health and safety goals and initiatives. All Intel Wafer Fabrication and Assembly Test sites that manufacture commercial product are registered to the ISO 14001 and 45001 standards by a third-party registrar under a multi-site registration. In addition, several Intel manufacturing sites are registered to the ISO 50001 Energy Management System standard.
In 2019, Intel further demonstrated its commitment to continuous improvement across environmental, health and safety by successfully establishing a company-wide certification to ISO 45001 resulting in a fully integrated EHS management system under a unified multi-site registration.
As Intel continues to expand manufacturing operations into new global markets we are committed to our copy exactly philosophy for implementing world class environmental, health and safety programs and by certifying new manufacturing sites to both ISO 14001 and 45001. Intel has maintained a ISO 14001 multi-site certification for all manufacturing locations since 2001 and ISO 45001 since 2020. Intel will continue to demonstrate its internationally recognized commitment to worldwide environmental, health and safety excellence by completing independent third-party audits at various sites each year.
New sites implement an environmental, health, and safety management system at start up and are registered to ISO 14001 and 45001 after their integrated EHS management system has been in place for a minimum of 6 months.
