Help take the uncertainty out of PC transitions with Intel® Stable IT Platform Program
Empower your IT team to manage PC updates more predictably, reduce disruption, and move to new devices on a schedule that works for your business.
Managing a fleet of hundreds or thousands of PCs can be challenging. Driver changes, image updates, and operating system transitions can create extra work for IT and unexpected disruption for users. Without PC stability, a platform component can change midcycle and force retesting. Intel® Stable IT Platform Program (Intel® SIPP) is designed to fix this. It means the software and hardware components won’t change for 15 months. With consistent platform configurations and validated updates, IT spends less time retesting and reimaging, making it easier to plan refresh cycles and keep systems running smoothly.
Build a consistent PC refresh strategy with Intel® SIPP
- PC planning gets more predictable—Intel® SIPP aims for zero changes to Intel platform components including processor, chipset, Wi-Fi, integrated graphics drivers, Ethernet, and Thunderbolt for 15 months. So, IT can refresh with reliability while keeping configurations consistent from one wave to the next.
- Less rework, more stable refreshes—Intel platforms are battle tested and validated across the hardware, firmware, software including Windows 11, so IT teams can minimize the retest and rebuild cycle.
- Fewer helpdesk tickets from the start—Inconsistent hardware and software across devices is a common source of setup failures and configuration drift. With Intel® SIPP, employees get PCs that are configured consistently. PC set up, configuration and image deployment are more seamless, resulting in less troubleshooting for IT and fewer issues for employees.
- A unique platform stability commitment—Intel® SIPP is a commitment Intel has delivered every year for over 20 years, so you're not betting on a promise — you're buying into a proven program.
One integrated and validated platform
Intel takes a holistic approach to platform validation, delivering our latest critical PC platform technologies in a single validated solution, working with OEMs to qualify devices before they ship. IT gets a PC that’s been proven end-to-end, not just spec-checked.
A commitment to PC stability
Intel SIPP commits to zero hardware changes for a minimum of 15 months for Intel-based PCs. That covers critical Intel components in the platform — processor, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Thunderbolt, so the components IT depends on stay consistent from the first device you order to the last. No mid-cycle surprises. No emergency retesting. Just a stable foundation you can build your refresh cycle around.1
