Part 5—David Scheltma: Bringing the Maker Community to a Broader Audience
Make: Magazine has a preference for publishing projects with open-source hardware and allowing others to hack them, enabling the community to design and build their own electronics ideas. Last year Make: Magazine had 131 Maker Faire events—they are exploding. This movement is taking off because people feel that they are a part of the community.
