Meet America’s Brightest Young Scientists
| What: |
The Intel Science Talent Search (Intel STS) is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science competition. Take a glimpse into the future of science in America as 40 of the brightest young scientists assemble in Washington, D.C. to showcase research that could help burn victims, generate electricity from ocean waves, and provide rapid detection of exposure to biochemical agents. These remarkable students will compete March 10-15 for scholarships and prizes totaling $530,000. The top prize is a $100,000 scholarship.

Media are invited to attend the student project display March 13-14 as well as the awards ceremony on March 15. Both events offer the opportunity for reporters, photographers and TV crews to speak with the students.
