Intel® InBusiness™ eMail Station Receives "Test Center Recommended" Award From Computer Reseller News

Dec. 18, 1998 -- The Intel® InBusiness™ eMail Station has earned the CRN "Test Center Recommended" seal of approval as a result of testing at Fall COMDEX* in Las Vegas. In its Dec. 7 issue, CMP Media's Computer Reseller News recognized Intel InBusiness eMail Station for its ease of use, speed of setup, performance and functionality, commenting that "The (eMail) Station performed perfectly throughout all tests."

Designed for businesses with fewer than 50 employees, the Intel InBusiness eMail Station provides local area network (LAN) and Internet e-mail capabilities, including automated sending and retrieval of messages, remote dial-in e-mail, and other benefits. It can be installed in about 20 minutes.

The eMail Station helps small businesses portray a more professional image and improve communication. It automates the sending and retrieval of messages, and helps eliminate the time and costs associated with individual, manual e-mail downloads. The eMail Station provides basic administration for simple management tasks such as adding, changing and deleting individual e-mail accounts.

The eMail Station can be set up to automatically reply to messages to inform senders that the employee is out of the office or on vacation. The eMail Station can automatically forward incoming messages to another employee for faster response times with customers and suppliers. It also enables users to set up custom mailing lists that can be used by anyone on the network. With mailing lists, companies can send a price promotion message to all its customers simultaneously or send an internal message welcoming a new employee. The product also features remote dial-in e-mail access so employees can retrieve e-mail when they're out of the office.

The Intel InBusiness eMail Station has been available since Nov. 25 for an estimated street price of $699. The U.S. suggested list price is $875. It is available worldwide through a network of distributors and value-added resellers. For more information visit, www.intel.com/network/products/inbusiness.htm.
