Intel Offers Complete Networking Solutions
Flexible Solutions Meet Networking Needs at the Classroom, School and District Levels
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 28, 1998 -- Intel Corporation, one of the world's leading technology companies, is participating in its first Technology+Learning Conference. Intel is exhibiting networking products that offer cost-effective, scalable, flexible solutions that are simple to configure, manage and maintain. These products represent a complete infrastructure solution for connecting schools and libraries from the desktop to the Internet.
Demonstrations of and literature on these products are available in booth 100/102 in the exhibition hall. The products include: Intel® Express hubs, switches and routers; Intel InBusiness™ networking products; Intel PRO100 mobile, server and client networking adapters; and the LANDesk® family of systems management products.

E-Rate Program
Intel announced in August a new program designed to help educators successfully participate in the federal government's Education Rate (E-rate) fund. Educators will have access to technology planning materials, network design assistance, newsletters and informational seminars. Education Programs
Intel is deeply committed to science, math and technology education; training teachers in the effective use of technology in the classroom, encouraging employee volunteerism in our communities and schools and supporting PC recycling programs for classrooms. Intel's education programs include:
- Intel International Science and Engineering Fair: Intel is the title sponsor for this program, which involves more than one million students each year.
- Intel Science Talent Search: Intel is the title sponsor for this competition among U.S. high school seniors, and will award $330,000 in scholarships in 1999.
- The Journey Inside is a technology education program that includes a classroom kit and online resources.
- Applying Computers in Education: A technology training program for K-12 educators.
