When running a configuration where there is heavy I/O while the system time changes, the platform can become unresponsive. In some extreme cases, a system crash can occur, or the volume is marked as degraded. The system rebuilds and recovers after a system reboot.
This issue is resolved with the 3.8.1111 driver release. You can update the driver alone, and it is possible to update the driver in the operating system OS.
|Note||Update your BIOS to get the full benefits of the RSTe 3.8 update. This version includes Pre-OS, or OpROM, components. The Pre-OS components are installed with a system board BIOS or firmware update.|
