Why does the TX Equalizer parameter setting in the GTS Transceiver Toolkit not reflect the same value as one set in the QSF and Analog Parameters tab?

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2 and before, the TX Equalizer parameter in the GTS Transceiver Toolkit will show an invalid TX EQ setting and doesn’t reflect the same value as one set in the QSF and Analog Parameters tab of the GTS PMA/FEC Direct PHY FPGA IP GUI.

To work around this problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2 and before, use the direct register access method to read and write the TX Equalizer parameter value in the GTS PMA/FEC Direct PHY FPGA IP.  Please refer to the GTS PMA Register Map for the TX Equalizer offset register. 

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 25.1.
