Description
You may see this internal error in Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 24.1 and earlier when selecting an Agilex™ 7 device with R24C package as your target device and an Agilex™ 7 device with R24D package selected as a migration device. This error occurs because Agilex™ 7 R24C to Agilex™ 7 R24D migration is considered conditional and thus is not supported in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.

Resolution
Migration selection between these two devices will not be supported starting from Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2.
