Description
Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.1, reconfiguration of the Agilex™ 5 FPGA devices by AVSTx16 configuration scheme may fail with error code 0xF0030003 (ERR_BITSTREAM_CORRUPTION) when transitioning to a bitstream generated in version 24.1 after being reconfigured with a bitstream generated from an older version (version 23.4 or 23.4.1) or newer version (version 24.2).
Resolution
To work around this problem, reconfigure the Agilex™ 5 FPGA devices by JTAG configuration scheme instead of AVSTx16. No power cycling is needed.
This problem has been fixed in Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3.
