Due to an issue in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.1, the I/O Bank Properties GUI in the Quartus® software Pin Planner allowed the user to select 1.8V as the VCCIO for HSIO bank location. The valid VCCIO voltages supported by the HSIO bank are 1.0V, 1.05V, 1.1V, 1.2V, and 1.3V only.
If the VCCIO of any unused HSIO bank is assigned to 1.8V, the Quartus® fitter report will incorrectly reflect the 1.8V VCCIO Voltage for this unused bank.
If a used HSIO bank is assigned to 1.8V, Quartus® Prime Software will detect conflicts between the VCCIO assigned in the used HSIO bank against the VCCIO of the valid I/O standards selected for the HSIO pins. The Quartus® Prime Software will display an error similar to the following example:
To work around this issue, please select a valid VCCIO voltages supported by HSIO bank as documented in the Agilex™ 5 General-Purpose I/O User Guide. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in the future release of Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
