Why is my noprune assignment being ignored when used within a design partition?

Environment

    Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition
BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.4 and earlier, the noprune assignment may fail to take effect when used within a design partition. 

 

Resolution

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v24.1
