    Description

    Due to a problem in Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.4 or earlier, you might see this internal error during the Analysis and Synthesis stage of compilation. This problem occurs when the entity name is manually changed to an incorrect value in the Signal Tap (.stp) file.

    Resolution

    To work around this problem, correct the entity name in the .stp file.
