Why does the driver of P-Tile Avalon® Streaming Intel® FPGA IP for PCI Express* fail to be installed in Linux OS?

    Description

    Due to a problem with the BIOS setting, you might observe error messages when installing the driver of P-Tile Avalon® Streaming Intel® FPGA IP for PCI Express* in Linux OS:

    make[1]: leaving directory "/usr/src/kernels/3.10.0-1160.el7.x86_64"

    insmod: ERROR: could not insert module ./intel_fpga_pcie_drv.ko: Required key not available.

    Resolution

    To workaround this problem, disable the "Secure Boot" option in BIOS and restart the system.
