Due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.3 on the Windows* platform, the SDI II Intel® FPGA IP multi-rate or triple-rate design example fail to generate with the Intel Agilex® 7 device due to an issue with the F-Tile PMA/FEC Direct PHY Multirate Intel® FPGA IP. The following error message will appear:
Error: Error starting the process ([sh, -c, (cd ../../directphy_f/source/&& ls *)]):
Cannot run program “sh” (in directory “C:\intelFPGA_pro\22.3\ip\altera\alt_xcvr\altera_xcvr_native_phy\directphy_f_sr_wrapper\tcl”): CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified
Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.3 on both Windows* and Linux platforms, no SDI II video output is displayed on the receiver side when using the SDI II Intel® FPGA IP multi-rate or triple-rate designs on the Intel® Agilex™ F-tile devices. This issue impacts all SDI II Intel® FPGA IP design examples that support dynamic reconfiguration.
A patch is available to fix both problems for the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.3.
Download and install Patch 0.19 from the appropriate link below.:
- Download the patch Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition version 22.3 Patch 0.19 for Windows (.exe)
- Download the Readme for Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition version 22.3 Patch 0.19 (.txt)
- Linux installations do not require patch 0.19.
